i've been told that by using the pokeradar and chaining it there is a higher chance of finding a shiny pokemon (to chain use pokeradar find a pokemon and defeat/catch it then when the battle ends you will see more patched of grass move walk to the patch that matches the original patch you stepped on make sure it's farther away)

i've not been able to do it yett hough because if you find a different pokemon then the chain breaks ><
supposidly the chain needs to be at atleast 40 (20 in some cases) before the shineys start appearing.
i read that its like a 1/52 chance of finding a shiney when the chain gets to 40 and over
